Bloody weather! Stopped me getting a pic but just managed to catch glimpses through the clouds. Just about to watch it land on the webcam. Yaaay it's down. Welcome back BA! :yahoo:
Photos of those two on the G-INFO website show them in BMI livery. :s_sad I was hoping to see BA livery. They may be old pics tho. Can anyone confirm what livery Sunday's will be?
Edit: Just noticed the site says it is now owned by BA and there's a pic in BA livery.

So is anybody from this forum thinking of heading to LBA on Sunday to see one of the BA flights? I'm certainly not going up for the first one  but am going to be up early to see it flying over Leeds (if 32 is in use of course). Depending on the weather I may head up to the cemetery to see...
Do you need a passport to fly LBA-LHR or the reverse journey? Mine ran out earlier this year. I don't want to waste £80 or whatever for a renewal when I've no trips abroad planned, but am planning a trip to London early next year and want to fly there/back/or both.
The Pole you posted yours just as I was composing mine!

A Lynx also flew very low towards the city centre today with the rear door open, and its gear deployed just as it went out of sight. There's been a few recently. Only reason I can think of is they were heading for the helipad at LGI transporting injured troops?
Unless of course today Leeds is...
A 4 engined a/c has just flown over Leeds at over 30,000ft. It wasn't a 747, 340 or 380. It also didn't show up on FR24. I assume it was military. Anyone know what it was?
The Daily Mail website is reporting on a "new" website that allows you to track aircraft on a map. Can any of you guess what this "new" site is called?
Re: Official Viewing Park?
My suggestion would be for the council to completely cut the bushes and weeds at the cemetery, and add some benches, or concrete blocks such as the one near the tunnel, and some litter bins. They could also move the front cemetery wall and gates back a few feet...
