Not strictly linked to LBA, but I wondered if anyone else had noticed several B777's going into DTV lately on an evening. According to flightradar tonights is EuroAtlantic's B777 200 ER CS-TFM. Earlier in the week Omni air internationals B777 N918AX also went in to DTV, appearing to come from Oxfordshire, maybe Brize Norton?? So maybe troop movements?

Update; can confirm that it is Brize Norton where the CS-TFM has landed at approx midnight, anyone any ideas?

thanks for that LUFC Pete, makes alot of sense. Interesting that it's a T7 being used but i suppose if there's nothing else there at DTV then there'll be plenty of room!

Just opening my front door yesterday afternoon as a very noisy C130 came over going westbound at around 15,000ft. Always nice to hear.

A 4 engined a/c has just flown over Leeds at over 30,000ft. It wasn't a 747, 340 or 380. It also didn't show up on FR24. I assume it was military. Anyone know what it was?

What a time for a fire drill at work this morning!!

2 Austrian 767's came over + a French Air Force A310 F-RADA going South.

Two Air France a380's have just flown over Leeds mere minutes apart, both from Paris, the first heading to Washington DC, the second to LA.

The Pole you posted yours just as I was composing mine!

And BA and Virgin STILL aren't using them. At this rate India and Pakistan will have them before we do

You'll see them sooner than you think. The first three BA A380s will be delivered in July, September and November 2013. There are even some pictures on the net of the first a/c at TLS.

As for Virgin possible 2015 but who knows....

I was outside washing the car when the A380's flew directly overhead Cookridge. Great view of them in a cloudless sky.

Lovely clear skies this morning, so great for spotting overheads. Doesn't get much better than the Volga-Dnepr IL76 RA-76503 that flew over northbound at around 08:30 this morning after departing EMA.

The Trade Air F100 9A-BTE yesterday lunchtime was nice to see as well.

I love this thread , would be great to see more reports.
Please don't rely on me though , I haven't got a clue where to start but more than happy to watch.

are all overhead flights on flightradar as ive got it on my phone and it doesnt always show whats overhead

FR24 is good to a point. It shows KLM F70's but not ER195's. No rubber bands either. Just as well I was outside the office waiting to see the KLM ER195 come in yesterday morning.

Would be nice to see anything through this cloud today.

On a night for several years, depending on what time I go to bed and if the weather and traffic are quiet, I hear a prop between 10-10.30. I have spotted it once and it was travelling North to South, but I have never been able to pick this up on Flight Radar 24, is it a mail flight? Anyone know?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
