It opened last year and has little use, it also has access back in to the terminal and could be used for transiting passengers, but yet to be used for that purpose.
The 374 to CUN went tec and a replacement was flown in and operated out to CUN but unfortunately that aircraft went tec in CUN. The 375 is estimating in at 0602 1/7 on a 3rd aircraft!

Bet they can't wait to get those 787's on-line
The forward coaching lounge that easy jet use in the mornings has now been transformed in to a dedicated bmi boarding lounge, it's been painted in the airlines colours and has art work of the destinations and aircraft around the room.
It has a nice feel about it like the dedicated boarding...
Ok so the interesting part about the long haul finishing is the BRS based TOM engineers are beginning 787 training soon, so it makes me wonder if TOM will be returning in 2015 with the 787!
I read on the dried plumb that the only stand's that can accommodate the 767 is stand 26, but 26,29 & 33...
Well it'ss been an interesting day and as you have said the snow coming in around 1700.
The Blue Island landed and the airfield closed 15 mins later, the snow ploughs and de-icing sprayers were out at 1800 but the snow took hold and became to heavy.

A nice change from the norm tonight.
Binter Canarias ATR72 arrived on a charter flight and is on stand 12 due out tomorrow 12/1 at 2010, it's a long old way from the Canaries on a prop!

Nice tech stop today for a Sun County Airlines 737-800 N818SY on a ferry flight from ABB Addis Abbaba Ethiopia to MSP USA via BRS for fuel due bad weather in SNN and then crew change/ fuel stop in SNN continuing on to MSP.

We had snow at the airport from about 0730-0900, but it was to wet to lay on the ground. Iit was happy to lay on the aircraft though, luckily most had departed or been pre de-iced and it was the few on turnarounds that need it.
You will probably find it will go back to a DH4 closer to the time, they tend to put the RJ85 in the system then revert to the thr current metal, they've been doing it for years.

But I can see operating the E195 daily would cut costs and maximise revenue.
Re: Qantas to visit Bristol

I guess with BRS having had an A330 visit in the past there would be no problem with a 744, my only thinking would be if it...
