    New Arrivals Terminal For LBA

TUI's loss isn't a good thing but personally for me at the moment it is. The terminal is at breaking point and Jet2 have added another based aircraft for Summer 19 which would have caused even more chaos. Lets not forget the horrendous security queue in summer 18 that went all the way to Jet2...

Weather & Technical Diversions, Delays & Cancellations

KL1057 seems to be heading to CWL from AMS as BRS's runway is closed. As well as BMI Regional flight from DUS.

Weather & Technical Diversions, Delays & Cancellations

The Paris, Glasgow and Amsterdam EasyJet flights seem to be heading to BHX. BRU-BRS looks to be heading straight to BHX.

Their’s lots of airacft in the hold they must be waiting to see if the runway clears, diverts are probably looking likely for CWL and BHX.

Archive Spotting Movements Log & Heads Up

Riga has made the time up and had began its descent into LBA due in at 22:31. Won’t think they’d close they runway on them with one minute to spare!

    Flybe

They will most likely keep most of the regional routes at Cardiff as theirs not much competition and they are quiet essential (would the Government step in to try and save them since the rail is so tragic?) However routes that don't have at least a average of 80% load factors will have a big...

    KLM

They have made some good progress recently from CWL. They've very quickly gone from E-175 to E-190 now onto the 737-700/800. I suppose it helps having no competition on the route which they don't really have in the UK anymore as Flybe and Easyjet fly from a lot of UK airports as well as BA in...

    Fly bmi

That’s great if it is that full already usually most business passengers don’t book until weeks before the trip. Maybe twice daily will come into action if the route carries success.

    Route Development & Rumours

Don't forget Air India fly LHR-JFK with the aircraft coming from India so they could have potential to do so also. But their finances are a lot weaker therefore if the route docent instantly work they would be very quick to evaluate its profitability but Emirates is the better airline...

    Greater Birmingham - Thread

You would think so but it helped you to learn more about the options you were considering, or if you didn't have a clue they guided you with your decision. I would definitely recommend going with a friend or more as you can all share the dishes which allows you to try them all!

I ordered a dessert expecting it to be very normal it came with liquid nitrogen and a sparkler, also their staff are amazing they know everything about the menu. This was great for decision making as everything on the menu sounds amazing!

    Ryanair

They are that sort of airline! New routes seem to be sprouting from everywhere in the UK Manchester recently just saw a massive boost this maybe maybe why LBA has been pushed aside recently. I cannot think of the last new route for Ryanair from LBA was it Warsaw Modlin?

    Ryanair

Ironic how Ryanair mentioned yesterday too! Hopefully they will soon realise that a base is necessary but at the moment it is probably cheaper to have flight coming on from other bases.
  16. louis_walton

    Flybe

I can't imagine Ryanair taking those sorts of routes on especially with the 737-800, maybe a couple in the future but probably not Verona and the German routes have a very slim chance of being picked up by them. If Ryanair further expand it will most likely start with sun routes as they are...

    Flybe

It's weird that CWL has seen such a reduction and other airports are not, maybe they were in plan before the sale but it seems unlikely as they all had great loads. The only problem is their isn't another airline to fill the routes with the correct size planes which Flybe had. The German routes...

    Route Development & Rumours

It is becoming more and more likely that BHX will get a new route across the Atlantic as more and more airlines are receiving the max's and the NEO's. I always though Norwegian would jump in after Primeria but now their finances are weaker expansion for Norwegian is probably not very likely.

    Ryanair

Ryanair have began to release winter 19/20 and I really do hope they increase some frequencies or even add a new route (putting aside Brexit(as always). They haven't added much from LBA recently it would be great to see something, maybe another eastern European route as they all seem to do well...

    Leeds Bradford - General Thread

So far January has been very quiet for LBA, hopefully as the month ends we will start to hear some more positive news. I really hope LBA has a strong relationship with Ryanair as they have so many more routes they could offer but just currently choose not too! Also Paris is such a key route and...
