Where do you find which flights are operating? I have flights booked to Milan 9-16 August and am wondering where I should change them to... Pula or Amsterdam? Or just scrap thenidea for August and move them to next year

Sad indeed. And there’s little likelihood of anyone else stepping in to offer a point to point service. EasyJet don’t offer much apart from short hops from Brussels.

The launch of the route to Frankfurt has been postponed until June 2020

That’s good news about my Seville flight. It’s €118 coming back too so that would indicate it’s fairly well booked. My Orlando flight is with BA from LGW. TUI were unable to compete on price for 4 of us.

Well I have Seville from BRS on Thursday and Orlando for 2 weeks in early May. I’m hoping all will be fine. I’m not so sure about my Italian Lakes holiday in August though, but that is a long way off.

Likely to be a package holiday destination I think, although if it’s going on sale for S20, they’re leaving it a bit late... which makes me think it might be a city route instead. Munich, Salzburg or the reintroduction of Marrakesh with decent frequencies?

I haven’t read the planning application in detail but what exactly was rejected? The increase to 12mppa or everything? Does it mean that even minor improvements such as the level walkway from the multi storey car park can’t be built, or the transport interchange?

I did the day trip to Paris yesterday. 7:30am flight took off bang on time. Took just under 1 hour, helped by a decent tailwind. taxi from CDG dropped us at the Sacre Coeur, wandered through MonteMartre, the Moulin Rouge, had lunch, went across to the Trocadero to see the Eiffel Tower and then...

All very strange. So Paris is now 3x daily with two flights taking off and coming back at the same time...

It removes the possibility of a day trip to Paris (which I am doing soon) and I wonder how many people book a ‘Paris’ flight will turn up at the wrong airport. I’m sure we will see them in the Evening Post soon enough! I’ve not been to Orly. I assume getting through the airport will be a...

I think at 14 times per week, up from 10, they obviously value BHX. Impossible to tell if that rules BRS out but if they are increasing an existing route instead of trying a new one, perhaps it does. Or perhaps they’ll announce a daily BRS route tomorrow!! If I had a crystal ball I’d be...
