So, LHR only. Government has chickened out. LGW should also have been included. But this is a decision on a new runway on the south east so it does not rule out growth in other regions. If I was PK I would continue with plans for BHX and the tie in with HS2. Let's fight our own corner of the...

Whatever the arguments over LHR Law what is clear is when it comes toong term infrastructure planning this country is a basket case.
London has 6 International airports. They have 7 runways. Paris has 2 International airports and 7 runways.
If LHR is the chosen one then I fear that LTN...
Andy, sorry but my wording was misleading. The ambition of my prediction is based on growth we already know, plus, I hope, some more announcements. I just feel that a tremendous 2016 and a steady growth in 2017, plus the continued confidence in the city and region, coupled with at last a...
Sorry 15.8% not 15.1% in my easier post. Thanks for copying the whole press release jfy.
Pretty significant growth. I was thinking kinda going maybe 12% last month. Given the growth here and at other regional airports the governments will be as bonkers as a Donald to go with just Heathrow.

I think you are right Ray. BHX has not been completely ruled out as an option. The airport would be wise to start planning now even if it is a long term option. Looking at that area the challenges are huge. If it was not for the impact on residential areas the old option of a new runway...

Quite a swipe at the WMCA or whatever it is called. I am not even sure about Greater Birmingham. You don't, after all hear about Greater Barcelona or Greater New York. The brand is one word: Birmingham.
Hope PKs tenure is a successful one. Busy man.
Just love the video. Food an important thing factor for the one filming. Great route round BHX to the gate. We need the remote pier built urgently. With so many based aircraft I can see a queue for the gates at peak AM. That will not be good. Shudder to think if we had to take diversions at...
