It’s pretty obvious they all gang up together whatever their location to oppose any aviation expansion/change wherever it is.
The problem is it’s much easier to motivate activists ( with their disinformation) who are chomping at the bit to oppose anything and everything than it is the silent majority as reflected in the current for and against figures.
I imagine also, given their connections to other like minded groups, they’ve cast their net far and wide to ask for objections to be made via the portal.
Leeds is a well established base with little competition for Jet2 on the holiday side so maybe it makes more sense to concentrate on the newest bases to build up business at those.
They’re a perfect example of why progress in the U.K. is so difficult, they will protest against anything and everything. Meanwhile our competitors just get on with it.
