Looks like the x2 Air Tanker A330's are around again next year...good news! I flew on one of them at the end of March and it was a lovely aircraft!

Looks like G-VYGM has been AOG since 4th August at MAN and flights subbed on a 757 apart from yesterday when G-VYGK flew MAN - FAO, however it too looks to have gone AOG and a 737-800 flown to FAO to bring the pax back. I wonder if loads are low enough for the 757 to accommodate all PAX or if...

Things can't be so bad - I note from the CAA Website that across all bases Jet2 carried over 2 million pax at a load factor of 86.3% for May 2024 (this is the month with empty return flights due to seasonality to the likes of Greece etc)

An update on G-SUNB - the aircraft is due to position from EMA to MAN midday tomorrow.

Looks like a 3rd A330 is in operation at Manchester from Thursday...unsure of who it is operated by as the seating plan is different to the 2 Air Tankers.

Was gutted visiting the website after a long time of not going on it and finding a new website with no webcam. Hopefully the webcam will be back!

Forgot to post last week after arriving back from Gran Canaria with Jet2 but the flights were great! Jet2 have their own dedicated floor for check in at Manchester on the ground level check-in. Service was very quick with very friendly staff, in fact we were through check-in and security in...
