Not enough marketing done on the area/how it can feed into Sorrento?
Or was / is the airport not ready?
It literally is 20 minutes difference in the transfer to Sorrento the main holiday hot spot in the Naples area.
Wonder if they'll give it another try shortly.

Looks like the x2 Air Tanker A330's are around again next year...good news! I flew on one of them at the end of March and it was a lovely aircraft!
I used to go to Samos a number of years ago, it was a Thomson charter from Manchester, then it was only Gatwick, then I'm not sure they kept that on. Hopefully Jet2 has more luck as its a beautiful island.
Watched some you tube approaches to that island…very interesting and challenging!

Keflavik starts 09OCT26 (Friday) into 4 weekly (Mon, Thursday, Fri, Sunday) (W/C 12OCT).
It then runs 6 weekly for 2 weeks ONLY - WC 19OCT and WC 26OCT
W/C 02NOV, 09NOV, 16NOV it runs 4 weekly (Mon, Thursday, Fri, Sunday)
W/C 23NOV - 2 Weekly (Mon/Fri).
W/C 30NOV - 2 Weekly with last service 07DEC. (Mon/Fri).
Service then has a temp hiatus till end of January where it begins again on 29 January.
From 1st Feb it runs consistently until WE 11APR.
W/C 08FEB, 15FEB, 22MAR, 05APR the service runs 4 weekly (Mon, Thursday, Fri, Sunday).
All other weeks it is two weekly (Mon/Fri).
They up frequency during school holidays. What is the date/cycle of the northern lights during 2026?

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
