Agreed ! They have always been a bit that way had several nights in Amsterdam on my way to Bahrain in the past due to various reasons getting from Leeds to Schipol for my connecting flight. I don’t see this as good news !

Are the aircraft Cat 3 capable and crew trained ! I think my long haul trips are unlikely to start with Leeds to Amsterdam and take the chance of the first leg of the journey going wrong with Eastern Air. See how it goes shall we ! We now need Easyjet on the route.

Still closed and Tee-Side have an Helvetic Embraer 295 holding just north of us inbound to them as they must have some snow problems too.

It started snowing around 0530 at LBA so 4 hours 30 mins to clear the runway and the glide slope and LBA beacon are inop so I will leave you all to decide how you think the situation is today.

@quik123 I was not answering your question as there are others on this site who are more up to date with this information as I have only flown light aircraft since my retirement in 2002 . I was just pointing out the unusual landing of Tui when they normally divert in low visibility weather.
