I know a lot of people how this year are going long haul and Turkey mainly due to the brexit uncertainties as they don’t want to wait till April to book their holidays so see long haul as a safer bet.

It’s a strange one as I have been on may other KLM cityhopper flights that have used bridges else where in Europe and in Amsterdam although they broad and unload via stairs they only ever put stairs on the front.

There are other places around the other side next to the twin peaks hanger (the two green triangle hangers) where you can get right up to the fence. This is where most of the aircraft are parked. Chances are here though you will attract the attention on the MOD Police.
When traveling from Cardiff airport towards Llantwit Major you pass the main turning to St Athan village and stay on the B4265 and then take the next right. It’s a small road but within about 200 yards of turning onto this road you will be on the railway bridge.
Travel city never got to operate the -400. They started with -200 and then moved onto -300 before the XL merger finished them off and they become a tour operator only selling flights on Virgin
There is the the other side of the road in st athans but nothing has been towed over there for years. Maybe if it continues to grow this will become a possibility.
