Amsterdam suffered with fog this morning I believe, so the flights are probably all over the place today.

I know a lot of people how this year are going long haul and Turkey mainly due to the brexit uncertainties as they don’t want to wait till April to book their holidays so see long haul as a safer bet.

    Random Stuff!!

England team bus stuck in major M4 traffic jam - just as Gatland predicted http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/england-rugby-team-bus-stuck-15873951#ICID=ios_WalesOnlineNewsApp_AppShare_Click_Other Bit of fun. I like this side of rugby.

    KLM

Returned on Friday from Germany. Flew on the 16:40 from Amsterdam back to Cardiff. Flight full, no empty seats. Both flights I flew on were full. Get the idea with the extra flight for 5 weeks maybe KLM are testing the water but at the moment haven’t got a spare E Jet so that’s why we will see...

    KLM

It’s a strange one as I have been on may other KLM cityhopper flights that have used bridges else where in Europe and in Amsterdam although they broad and unload via stairs they only ever put stairs on the front.

    KLM

Flew out this morning on the way to Germany with KLM. Airport was busy with flights to Paris, Milan, Newcastle, Amsterdam and Tenerife. The new security equipment makes it much faster, only slowed down by the people off to Tenerife, guess most of them only fly once or twice a year. The flight to...

Not to sure about that one. The 737 can’t take palates like an A320 can so it’s not much use at carrying cargo.

Might be looking towards Thomas Cook for one or two transatlantic like Orlando or Cancun. Other than that Ryanair or another low cost carrier have to be the key.

    Random Stuff!!

Very sad and not looking good. Seems to have been something wrong for some time as 5000ft to cross the channel seems far to low and then requesting further descent.

The new airbridge is up and running and KLM are using it.

There are other places around the other side next to the twin peaks hanger (the two green triangle hangers) where you can get right up to the fence. This is where most of the aircraft are parked. Chances are here though you will attract the attention on the MOD Police.

    St Athan - General thread

When traveling from Cardiff airport towards Llantwit Major you pass the main turning to St Athan village and stay on the B4265 and then take the next right. It’s a small road but within about 200 yards of turning onto this road you will be on the railway bridge.

Wasn’t it it Chelsea or Arsenal who flew to Norwich for a game once? Seems that it’s a statement these days.

    Cardiff Airport - General Thread

Travel city never got to operate the -400. They started with -200 and then moved onto -300 before the XL merger finished them off and they become a tour operator only selling flights on Virgin

There is the the other side of the road in st athans but nothing has been towed over there for years. Maybe if it continues to grow this will become a possibility.
