A TUI Netherlands 767 PH-OYI has just touched down from Amsterdam, not sure why it's visiting though.

This was likely taken when I was a very young lad, it’s crazy how much has changed from then with so many cars everywhere.

I remember when all that space was just a huge car park around 5 - 10 years ago, it looks a lot better now, when walking past those trees on that footpath.

I am glad Turkish airlines are doing well at Birmingham during these times, ill keep my eyes peeled for the dreamliner if it goes over my house.

I thought it was diverting too! But it went past my house earlier and I managed to get a picture of it before it went into the clouds

Woah that sounds incredible, it looks really cool with the 4 engines too.

This was way before my time, but I do feel that aviation was a lot more varied and interesting back then, with lots of 747s and narrow bodies that weren’t A320s and 737s. I now regularly watch BHX, MAN and LHR clips from the 1990s and it’s amazing how things were in aviation.

I had the feeling this would be the case when i saw new posts for this thread.

I've watched this video last night and its really inspired me to visit LAX whenever the world is safe again. Love to sit on the grass in the hot weather outside In N Out burger and watch the planes coming in.
