Flybe gone.... Very bad news for the airport...
don’t know what this means for the London route?
staff and the Cornish public will be severely impacted by this.
Just don’t know what airline is out there to pick up the kind of connectivity Flybe provided to the regions.
Interesting.. Mr Walsh clearly looked at my post...
Absolutely a slot sitter. Encouraging but let’s see what materialises from it. It’s deffo a two fingers to FLYBE.
a daily morning slots would be great...
Well what a week for Flybe. The AMS route is fab news for NQY.. long wanted and overdue.. it is an irony that we lose our own hub but schipol ain’t to shabby. Great options with KLM..
well done NQY!
I sincerely hope Flybe or Virgin Connect really get this airline to a good place. NQY would be...
Good point! Let’s see if he puts his money where his mouth is. He won’t of course because he has no government money to do it..
It’s a real shame I think, LHR is where all regional airports want to be connected to..
I find that staggering.. he was one of them saying they would never run it and it wasn’t on their list even with a 3rd runway at LHR.

Aside from the above, I fear that the climate emergency will take front and centre of politics and prove very difficult for infrastructure projects in the UK.
To...
Flybe have the uk pretty well covered from NQY.. in fact I’d say that NQY is one of the best connected UK airports between late spring and autumn..
We do down here need that extra sun route. Both Faro and Alicante do really well.. case in point, flights are very really that cheap and flights...
A piece in the welsh news today talking about how CWL was losing money and another unprofitable year. Many people commenting that Bristol was their airport of choice because of price (with extended travel to get there for some) and destinations.
How involved are the welsh government?
Some time ago it was reported that the airport (going back a few years) was ensuring that they were 787 and A350 ready.. clearly we know about 787 operations but A350? Doable for ME traffic?
Can anyone advise on how many long haul aircraft Norwegian have based out of LGW.
looking at their arrivals tomorrow it would suggest about 11 Dreamliners? Is that correct?
Slightly off topic but about the future.. does anyone think Qatar would move its operation from CWL to BRS? Not suggesting based on anything specific (or to be controversial to CWL followers) but simply about traffic numbers through the airport and caption area..
different question but again...
