Since the start of the summer season, AA have been operating an A330-300 on the Philadelphia routes - in place of the -200. The -300 variant will also operate tomorrow’s flight too. It hasn’t operated the route regularly since the route was propped up by significant Astra Zeneca traffic.
This adds some significant capacity to the route over the winter period. One wonders if any sort of 777 operation is lined up for the increased demand in August - considering the Riyadh route will not be resuming.
Vueling Summer Expansion
Vueling will increase their flights to 8x weekly throughout August and September. Operates with a mix of 32A and 321 aircraft, I believe.

Sorry, forgot about EasyJet. Was referring only to the Aegean link.
@Aceshigh Of course, BHX and EDI can't be compared to MAN - I was just making the point that the MAN-ATH market is doing really well and I'm happy we have it sewn up (just like BHX has Eastern Europe covered much more than...
Flew Manchester-Athens over the weekend on EZY1947/48. Of course Aegean would have been my first choice but not available on the days I needed to fly.
Full flight both outbound and inbound in what is essentially "low season". Brilliant to see Athens doing well with two carriers - a brilliant...
Interestingly so far this is only scheduled for March - not beyond he start of the summer schedule.
Also, these new timings bring the flight in line with the majority of Saudia's European services - especially the majority of JED/RUH-LHR flights.
Flew Cobalt on Friday on an aircraft with the new Business Class cabin. 8/12 Business seats occupied (offered for €75 onboard) and 76/144 economy seats occupied onboard A320. Will take a look at the load as I fly back tomorrow.
Disappointingly, it now appears the slots have been receded for the RUH-MAN flights this summer, retaining just the 5x weekly JED-MAN. Annoying as loads were good and it provided a link to the KSA capital but nevertheless, shouldn't moan!
Interestingly, according to the Southend thread on PPRUnE, the SEN-MAN route carried some 800 more passengers in December than the SEN-GLA route which operates on a similar frequency mostly with the larger E195.
Stansted to Toronto will increase to five weekly from August. Is this perhaps on account of one of the BHX a/c moving to Stansted and operating IAD 5x a week and YYZ the additional two?
EI-FMJ is the usual it seems; a very nice cabin I must say.
When I flew the route in December, 39 pax were onboard IIRC. So quite a mixed bag anecdotally...
So they’ve turned the fact that they aren’t bothering to refit the aircraft and keeping them in Air Berlin config into a marketing spin?
“Love Suite” Virgin have some great PR tactics!
Following the increase to all A330 ops, the Air Transat website now shows A330-300 operation for the summer season this year, rather than the usual (smaller) -200. Although the seat map still shows -200. Possibly one to watch.
With regards to @Land23R 's previous comment, here is my updated list with the Ryanair expansion.
New Route List:
February 2018
Thomas Cook - Enfidha - 26th February 2018
March 2018
Ryanair - Belfast International - 25th March 2018
EasyJet - Genoa - 29th March 2018
May 2018

There could be renewed hope though...
On airliners.net, User001 alludes to the possibility of 11-weekly flights from November being briefly in the schedule.
