I've been trying to use '+Multi-Quote', to quote from one thread to another (which I've done successfully before), however when I select 'Insert Quotes...', I end up with a quote from about four posts previous to that which I want to quote.
When opening the F4A forum, as soon as I start scrolling down an advertising bar descends and blocks the F4A header. Yesterday, I sent RichL a PM. I can see that he visited this morning, but I've received no reply. It is quite possible that he started scrolling down before seeing the...
Is it my imagination, or has the area occupied by posts got narrower? I've noticed that I now have to click on the 'More options' icon if I want to add smilies, media, quotes or a table. These used to show without having to use 'More options'.
Something that I've long wondered about, is what aviation experiences people have encountered. Good, bad or indifferent, this could be anything from aerobatics in a DH Chipmunk (as an Air Cadet), to a first class review of an airline. It could also be good or bad experiences at airports. There...
I found this video of the Emirates service from DXB - NCL and thought it may be of interest to our NE England members (and others). There isn't much footage of the cabin, but what is shown seems to indicate a good load.
This evening, sees the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games 2022. I'm so proud that it's hosted by Birmingham, what I always think of as my home city. Live coverage of the opening ceremony will be shown on BBC1 starting at 19:00.
A list of the upcoming events can be found here -

Something I've noticed over the last few days, is that on the homepage in the 'Members Online' column the 'Staff Online' is only showing their avatars, whereas I'm sure it also used to list their username.

How do I send a Private Message? On another forum I'm on, if I click on an avatar, I get the choice of 'Send a PM'. On F4A, I see that I can 'Start a Conversation' or there is a box that says 'Write Something'. I'm just confused as to which is the Private Message option.
Thanks
Kevin
Following on from F4A's successful threads regarding alcohol and barbecues, I've long been wondering about peoples favourite meals, recipes, restaurants etc.
To get the ball rolling, apparently Wednesday 2 December is 'English Breakfast Day'. I love a full English breakfast (for me, if it...
Congratulations to West Bromwich Albion on their promotion to the Premier League (y)
With the Baggies now up and Wolves doing well, it just needs Aston Villa to survive for the West Midlands to have a good presence in the Premier League next season.

I'd just like to wish John Motson a very happy retirement, as he has hung up his micophone today.
A much loved character of British sport, he must rank along the likes of Murray Walker and Geoffrey Boycott.
Watching football on the telly will never be the same again, without that distinctive...
We all need cheering up now and again (especially through the long dark winter nights), so what better than somewhere to post amusing stories or pictures?
Please keep them clean.
I'll kick off with The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2017 -

I thought it might be useful to have a thread where people could post a 'heads up', regarding programs that may be of interedt to F4A members.
To get the ball rolling, Channel 5 will be showing 'Concorde' - how Concorde became the worlds only supersonic airliner, on Mon 4 Dec 2017 (this is a 2...
I'd like to congratulate Lewis and his team on this outstanding achievement. It's a shame that he didn't finish with a podium place, but ultimately it's been over the season that he has won (yes, luck has favoured him recently and may have been against him in Mexico - but that's F1).
Great...
Following on from the very successful 'What are you listening to now?' thread, I thought I'd add a similar link regarding literature.
I'm just finishing 'Into the Black', by Rowland White. This is an incredibly detailed review of the development and first launch of the Space Shuttle 'STS1'. The...
