Unfortunately the airport has become a black hole. There is no getting away from it, that is not saying Wales should be without an airport. Perhaps we should be questioning the management and the strategic thinking of the welsh government and local authorities for lack of the right infrastructure.

Great weekend celebrating HM the queen, many a street party across Wales and managed to attend a few myself. Wonderful for everyone to get together.

I guess a lot of people want to live in London, the experience of a big city and job opportunities that aren’t available in Wales. Wizz air pilots choosing to live in Luton, not so sure. although I imagine areas North of London aren’t as expensive and congested as greater London.

I am not a fan of the voting system proposal, it may benefit the larger parties and prevent smaller parties, greens, reform, abolish and even the lib dems breaking through. That isn’t really a democracy to me.

I think a public vote is sensible to be honest. We had one for changing the UK voting system, so it is appropriate. I don’t think Wales should be losing MP’s full stop, let alone having a referendum on it.

Was that for being a community councillor or county council? If you had become a councillor, would this of been something alongside a full time job (which I believe you have)?

Independents had my vote this time. Best people for the job. Johnson deserved it for all the nonsense of recent times.

I think it would of happened along with the M4 relief road had Carwyn Jones still been first minister.

Just because Bristol has poor access I don’t think it’s a good benchmark for Cardiff to follow. Should always aim for the gold standard and be the best you can rather than settling for mediocre because your main competitor is. Cardiff should always be looking to nab passengers from Bristol and...

Pandemic aside, Geography is a little unfortunate for Cardiff - for anyone in east cardiff it’s only about ten minutes further to bristol than Cardiff - for someone in Newport I would say equal distance time wise. Cancellation of roads leading up to the airport like the M4 to five mile lane...

When i looked at Wales Italy prices, I believe they were starting at £35. Would of been a good value for money game the way it turned out!

That 10 years went quick. I remember it was a big celebration at the time considering bmibaby had just left. At least they’ve stuck around to be fair.

I think it’s the same at Easyjet. BA i know they mix between long haul and short haul with the short haul doing a lot of there and backs but night stops too.

i’m not surprised if they’re only offering 21k per year - no night stops either so no prospect of seeing the world - it’s literally there and back.

Potentially preparing for a high turn over? I don’t think it’s the highest of paying jobs.

Compulsory purchasing peoples properties sounds like a great way to build a future relationship with the English government and show foreign investors this is a place to do business.
