If I remember correctly, it was said that T1 was no longer fit for purpose, and they would be looking at that after the Transformation Project was completed. If that is indeed the case, then we would have something to look forward to after all this is finished.

Gate 300 and the smoking area was at the end of T2 nearest to Pier C T1. You had to go down to the ground floor, where you would present your boarding cards and then be bussed to remote stands. It was where the new baggage sortation facility is now. I used that gate surprisingly I might add for...
