I'm sorry to sound negative but I was discussing this in the office with some other local businesses and we all believe he has left because he knows the new terminal is dead in the water.
I hope we are wrong, we had all supported the proposal but from what I am hearing it doesn't look at all...
The problem I see is that although TUI have given in to the likes of Jet2, that actually Jet2 are on a slippery slope as they have made their MAN operation huge and all we end up is a fleet of 737's.
Will this reduce further in favour of MAN, I think it might
My firm (via a business travel provider) uses BA a lot but they never book us from LBA, they always choose MAN. I know some will say "that old chestnut" but the road link to LBA is appalling and that channel of thought (as well as cost) says MAN every time.
Sad, but true.
