Looks like quite a steep STAIRCASE…..Enabling works for the HS2 people mover to start in 2026. It will be about 2 years before HS2 arrive on site.

Remember years ago when I used to attend meetings at BHX, HS2 albeit in early stages, there was some debate as to whether the 'mover' would end just short of T2, or be integrated. Matters will have moved on since. However if anything like yesterday, rather than wait in the chaos outside the terminal for a taxi, I elected to go over to BIS and take a taxi from there. Arriving at BIS, both up and down escalators out of order, plus lift immediately next to escalators u.sEnabling works for the HS2 people mover to start in 2026. Stairs and 1 lift only!! Now imagine that scenario if same happened if they built similar 'Terminal for Mover' outside T2!! Welcome to BHX

Just when they are trying to squeeze in extra stands ! & a number of stands used to store equipment as there is not enough room for it
