Ryanairs Search for Santa is departing today! Could anyone tell me the route it will take?

Cheers

It departed runway 32 and headed towards the Liverpool area climbing to 24,000ft before heading out over the Irish Sea. It then travelled about half way to the Isle of Man before turning around and heading back to the Liverpool area and then headed back towards LBA.

It was airborne for just over an hour and was operated by EI-DHG

As previously mentioned by Lbaspotter Enter Air Boeing 737-400 will be operating tomorrow's Santa flight to Enontekio. The aircraft is already on the deck (on stand 15 I believe)

It seems G-LSAH has just departed LBA for Stockholm (Arlanda) as EXS121C.

Is this a specialist charter does anyone know..?

Please can someone explain why F-HEPB Air France A320 has just come past my window heading into LBA, while working on AF1668 from CDG to MAN?

I saw the aircraft from distance and couldnt make out the livery due to the sun, thought it might have been a BA dummy run/test flight! White Heather will be pleased as Manchester arrivals does actually state as 'diverted'. There are a few others that have diverted. It doesnt say on the board where they are diverting to! Any one know reason for diverts?

The website shows we took a BMI from Edinburgh this morning. Nothing about an Air France. I am guessing there must be issues at MAN this morning.

Yeah don't know what the problems were but plane finder showed neumorous flights circling a few diverted to Liverpool and we got the air france

Manchester airport closed it runway this morning due to ice built up in the runway, the airport closed the runway at 0715 and reopened just after 0800 after the runway was sprayed, although everything didnt get back to normal until 1000, BA diverted to LPL while we gained a few im told. Dont know why they didnt use the other runway.

Did something really noisey take-off from LBA around 10 minutes ago? Or possibly a low fly over? I just heard a long very loud rumble, that sounded distinctly aircraft like, and that was from my office in Headingley. The noise just seemed a lot louder and longer than usual.

Hi Galaxy was it the Thomson flight to Sharm el Sheikh? It will have been slightly noisier with the higher fuel uptake for the longer run.

The LBIA website is showing two BMI Regional flights to Norwich departing at 12:10 as flights BM9452 & BM9463.

It could well have been, I had wondered if we had an unusual visitor such as a Hercules, but if nothing different from the norm, it probably was as you suggested Thommo to Sharm.

These flights will be operated by the current Leeds based, Embrear 145, G-RJXI.

She is due to position out tomorrow at 12:10 as BMR9452 and will operate a charter flight to Wales as Norwich FC are playing Premiership game this weekend against Swansea. The aircraft will fly the team back to Norwich on Saturday evening before positioning back to Leeds on Saturday evening as BMR9463.
To allow this to happen you may not have noticed but tomorrow night's BMR1615/1616 Leeds-Brussels-Leeds flights have been cancelled and are not showing on the airports flight information screens seen as there will be no aircraft available to operate it

And there is a theory to my madness as the flight number gives it all away.

9452 – 9 = Positioning flight, 4 = Embrear 145, 5 = Friday & 2 = 2nd positioning sector of the day.
9453 – 9 = Positioning flight, 4 = Embrear 145, 6 = Saturday & 3 = 3rd positioning sector of the day.

The BM 9452 flight to Norwich is now showing as cancelled on the LBA departure board.

That's because Leeds based bmi regional Embrear 145, G-RJXI departed empty to Norwich earlier this morning at 07:00 as BMR9153. This was due to the morning BMR1611/1612 Brussels rotations been cancelled at the last minute. So there are now no planned Brussels services been operated today by looks of things.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
