Thomson Airways spare back up Boeing 737-800WL, G-FDZA is currently positioning in from Manchester as TOM9015 to operate this evenings delayed TOM542/543 Dalaman rotation.

This is due to the fact that the current Leeds based Boeing 737-800WL, G-FDZU going tech down in route in Corfu earlier this morning. The inbound TOM3551 service was due into Leeds at 14:30 but is now not expected back until 09:30 tomorrow.

Jet2 have had to lease in Euro Atlantic's Boeing 737-800 737-800, CS-TQU which positioned into Leeds from Amsterdam earlier thisorning at around 05:00 and has gone on to operate the EXS257/258 Palma service

Meanwhile the Maltese registered Boeing 737-500, 9H-AHA has departed LBA this morning. Understand it may return over the weekend as Fleetwood Mac are due to play the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Sunday.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
