According to a poster on the other forum the Smartlynx A320 for CWL will be YL-LCS and will arrive on 30th April.

At the moment its operating for easy jet with 3 others. They are all white but I understood they were to have the loco on the tails like last year. Its due into cwl on the 30th of this month.Dont think enough time to paint.

Only going off the post i saw but the poster has said some of the other bases like BHX will have full livery ones from Smartlynx.

Personally if they arent going to have the proper livery i think they should just stay white.

The 4 leased A320 from smartlynx will be white with Thomas cook sunny heart tails.
the bases for these are
Y LLCS CWL
Y LLCT STN
Y LLCL BRS
Y LLCO NCL
There is a few A320 and A321 leased from Avion and 1 A321 from smartlynx based other airfields around the UK.

The aircraft to operate the TC work turned up yesterday. Well it was supposed to be painted and it isn't. It is hybred colors with TC tail and TC along either side. I don't know why it was not painted weather no time or just laziness..The hybred color is ex monarch and any one in the know about aviation will think what have we here apart from a mess.

At least it'll stand out! From what I've read elsewhere it's been busy working for Easyjet so they probably didn't have time.

What will also be interesting to see is how KLM react as they've gevr

Where did you get the info that it turned up yesterday from? As according to FR24 it's on the way now. Will be curious to see what sort of livery it is in!

The curious thing though is on FR24 it's due out at around 18.00 to come back around 20.30 and the destination is Cardiff. Maybe a training flight?

What / Who is Smartlynx ?
Smartlynx are the airline from Eastern Europe that will be operating the Thomas Cook schedule out of Cardiff for the summer with Thomas Cook cabin crew. Last year it was Avion Express the year before that Smartlynx operated.
They'll also be operating an A320 out of Bristol, Newcastle and Stansted as well as an A321 out of STN as well.

I have seen 3 pictures and 2 of them has monarch colors left on, and the 3rd is more tilted towards TC colors.I think it will have to see the plane to see how the colours are.

Definitely not in former Monarch livery more is the pity.

YL-LCS - Smartlynx A320 looks to be in full TCX colours with the exception of the engines which are white (the engines are painted the TCX yellow/orange on standard livery TCX aircraft).

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
