Kansas City is finally on the short list with New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta and even Paris, but it's probably not the list the city's leaders desired.
On Monday, Jalopnik, an automobile culture blog inside the New York-based Gawker Media family, listed Kansas City International Airport (Code: MCI) among its "Ten Worst Airports in the World."
KCI appeared as No. 9, in front of No. 10 Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, N.J. (Code: EWR) that serves the New York City metro area, and behind No. 8 Honolulu International Airport in Hawaii (Code: HNL)
