I don’t think you can really tell by the rotation as I believe the computers will calculate the correct thrust required based on maximum take off weight.

if you think of some of the shorter runways Ryanair use for example they may rotate roughly the same % proportion of the runway.

Yes the point they lift off can’t be used to guess the load. Quite often if they are light they can perform a de-rated takeoff run to save wear on the engines resulting on a long take off role.

I've been checking to see if Ryanair has put Barcelona onsale for Summer 2021 yet and still nothing. The airports from the UK they serve are onsale so i'm slightly concerned the route might be quietly dropped.

Too early to be concerned. In recent years a number of BRS's regular Ryanair routes have not been put into the system for the forthcoming summer until January or February.

I suppose we can only keep our fingers crossed that they'll put the route onsale soon enough.

I wonder why they didn't close it?
Good question. If the WG was really worried about people breaching their 'stay local' legal requirement by using CWL, as owners of the airport they could have done that.

Had they done so people from Wales might still have gone abroad or returned to Wales via English airports even though they would have left themselves liable to penalty under the WG's restrictions once they journeyed through Wales to/from the English airport. The WG knew it would be lifting the 'stay local' restrictions three days later, so the entire charade seemed unnecessary to some people.

Whether Ryanair would have had a justifiable legal claim against the WG for the fare refunds had the owners closed the airport I don't know.

I personally wonder if they were just arse covering. So they can at least say that they asked. Guess we'll never really know.

I think that's right.

Malta 2 weekly Wed & Sun and Faro Mon & Fri are onsale as well.
Just missing Barcelona
I have a sad feeling we won't see Barcelona return.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
