The future of the aviation industry?
With scientists and worldwide governments now agreeing on the idea that man is responsible for global warming, airport expansion may need to come to an end as governments have to start living up to their responsibilities.
Governments have unanimously agreed that there needs to be a reduction in carbon emissions limiting global warming to no more than 1.5 degree increase in average worldwide temperatures.
Clearly like everything else, aviation will inevitably have to take a hit if governments are to meet emissions targets. otherwise efforts to reduced carbon emissions with land based transport will be offset by carbon emissions by air transport.
We already know companies like Boeing and Airbus have made huge advances in technology to reduce aviation fuel consumption but this is being offset by the growth in the aviation industry.
