Loganair from NWI to MAN this afternoon is cancelled LM577, I know this because I was booked on it and just received a text to advise me.

As luck would have it , I finished my meetings earlier and decided to take the train home.

Just as well or it would have been a very late arrival home and I would have missed my pub meal tonight !

I have no idea what the reason for the cancellation is so it could be one which is exempt for compensation, but certainly worth putting your claim in to LM as you may get EUR250.

On the back of Carl's experience...

Loganair to Norwich to disappear:

"The airline said the main reason for the closure of the base was a lack of interest in its route been Norwich and Manchester.
If the proposed closure goes ahead that route will cease in the new year."

Airlineroute dated 9th September states:

Blue Islands at the launch of winter 2020/21 season plans to commence codeshare partnership with Loganair, covering the latter’s selected service from Manchester and Southampton. From 26OCT20, planned codeshare routes include the following.

Blue Islands operated by Loganair
Manchester – Aberdeen
Manchester – Inverness

Yes it is and i'd imagine that they feel a bit aggrieved considering they stepped up to the plate for many of the small regional airports after Flybe 1 went bust.

"Aggrieved" is probably a mild adjective to describe the press release and comments on LinkedIn from them about it! The interesting bit is what they'll do next.

They've just announced a 4th daily service to Aberdeen.( I expect it to be weekdays only) No dates stated but I expect it's from the winter timetable, with it being a lunchtime departure.

Loganair increases Isle of Man services as easyJet pulls back

Loganair, the UK’s largest regional airline, is stepping in to provide enhanced twice-daily services between the Isle of Man and Manchester in November and December after easyJet decided to discontinue its daily Ronaldsway-Manchester services for the winter.
Loganair’s additional flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays are in response to easyJet’s sudden withdrawal of services. This move ensures that Loganair will operate twice-daily flights, seven days a week between the Isle of Man and Manchester starting from October 31.

Edited for the following reason - and thanks to a friend for the information:

It's a badly worded article. Easyjet will still serve the route, they have only removed 2 of the weekly flights for the first half of winter, not removed the route completely.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
