There will be 1, possibly 2 757s at BRS, 1 ASL at CWL and 3 Olympus A321s at BHX/MAN
All will only be sold to 189 as per TUI 737s
Re Foxlimayankee's post (above) originally in the CWL TUI thread, at first glance it appears odd that TUI would leave 30-odd seats unsold on each flight unless there were operational constraints which there are clearly aren't at BRS with the TUI B757s as they've been operating from there for decades.
I wonder if the reason is that they are playing safe in case the 738 MAXs return to flying sometime during the summer season thus making available the B738s that were apparently planned for BRS this summer; therefore they would not want to sell say 200 seats on a 757 if when the time came for the flight to be operated it had reverted to the originally planned 738.
I'm not sure if the TUI B757s are all owned by the airline. If not, any of those 757s scheduled for withdrawal prior to this summer would presumably be being retained in service by extending the lease, but that begs the question as to whether any new lease is a term lease or a fluid one perhaps extendable every week or month.
