New US start-up based out of Salt Lake City and headed by David Neeleman, formerly of JetBlue.

I'm liking their livery, it's similar to La Compagnie.

Lovin' the livery! Not a great time to start or is it? One man's loss is another man's gain? One things for sure, the pandemic may have left a huge economic wake but it will have created new opportunities for others.

Breeze has agreed to acquire 60 Airbus A220-300 aircraft produced in Mobile, Alabama, with the first to arrive in August 2021. Prior to the A220 deliveries, service will begin with leased Embraer E190 aircraft.

The first of 15 E190s leased from Nordic Aviation Capital was delivered in February, with a second arriving earlier this month.

Breeze Airways to launch US domestic flights this week

The latest airline from Jetblue founder David Neeleman will launch flights between Charleston, Tampa and Hartford from May 27, with new destinations being added each week through until July 22.

Breeze will focus “most” of its flights from four main airports in Tampa, Charleston, New Orleans and Norfolk, and says that 95 per cent of its routes are currently without nonstop service.

Something else that might be of potential interest to UK airports...potential A220 flights to Europe

US carrier Breeze Airways is ordering another 20 Airbus A220-300s, as it prepares to receive its first of the type in the fourth quarter.

Airbus says the order for the twinjets, previously undisclosed, brings Breeze’s overall commitment to 80 A220s.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
