Thanks for that, Ray. Good picture.

As a matter of interest on what date was it taken?

It was taken last Thursday the 27th.

When I say that they were the only arrivals I should have added it was during the time we were there which would have been from mid afternoon. There may well have been others before that.

Thank you, Ray. The reason I asked relates to a discussion in the CWL thread about passengers on a TUI flight from Zante (Zakynthos) to that airport being tested positive for the virus. A report stated that the day before the CWL flight arrived which was last Tuesday a Plymouth family had returned from Zante also testing positive. I wondered which airport they had used with EXT being the nearest to Plymouth.

Clearly it wasn't the flight in your picture.

I heard about that on the local news whilst we were down there. I seem to remember there were 11 teenagers from Plymouth who tested positive after returning from Zante. I think the report went on to say that upon their return they carried on as normal including nights out in Plymouth's bars as they were displaying no symptoms.

No doubt infecting others who might suffer more serious consequences.

Haven’t been down Torquay in years.

I've not been to that part of the world since I was a youngster, we really enjoyed it though.

Did your room have views of Wilderbeast sweeping majestically?

:ROFLMAO:

We had a third floor penthouse apartment in a property high upon a hill with spectacular views across Lyme Bay to the Dorset coast.

Whilst they were an impressive sight it was sad to see the P&O cruise ships Azura and Ventura anchored just off shore awaiting a restart of the cruise industry.

Sounds lovely. We’ve got my auntie and uncles new caravan for a week - they brought it back in February but they only managed to get down there for the first time a few weeks ago! I haven’t been to Tenby for a few years either so looking forward to going again.

Ray probably had the Hanging Gardens of Babylon view.

There is no doubt about the potential that EXT possesses when it comes to the leisure market even if it doesn't yet have flights to view Sydney Opera House. The English Riviera is nonetheless up there with the best when it comes to holidays.

For those who might be wondering what this is all about, here's a clue.

I have moved some recent posts from this thread to the Exeter Airport General thread as they are of a general nature re EXT rather than Photo-related.

Please feel free to continue the discussion in the EXT General thread. The EXT General thread is at the top of the EXT thread index in the 'sticky' section.

Many thanks. TheLocalYokel, Admin

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
