ChangeGroup signs deal to operate foreign exchange services at Newcastle International Airport
ChangeGroup, a leading provider of foreign currency and financial services around the world, has secured a contract to offer a range of currency exchange services at Newcastle International Airport.
The deal comes as the next stage in the company’s ambitious expansion plans for its UK business, and follows the additions of Gatwick Airport, London Luton Airport and St Pancras International Railway Station to its network over the past year.
ChangeGroup will open two branches at the international hub, one in the departure lounge and one in arrivals alongside six multi-currency ATMs.
These branches will provide travellers with a range of premium services, including fast travel cash in all major currencies and international bank transfers. As ever, the friendly, knowledgeable and skilled sales consultants that ChangeGroup prides itself on will be offering the highest level of customer service and assisting travellers with any enquiries.
Working closely with Newcastle International Airport to ensure strong cohesion on the overall design of the terminal, ChangeGroup has made significant investment into the ambience of the branches. The eye-catching and engaging look has been crafted to enhance travellers’ airport experience and ensure they are able to easily identify the branches. Top-of-the-range LED displays ensure messaging is clear, captivating, and up-to-the-minute.
Newcastle International Airport is expected to welcome 4.7 million passengers in 2023, with a choice of over 80 direct destinations plus convenient one-stop connections to destinations across the globe via strategic hubs including Amsterdam, London and Dubai.
