Jet2 launches Winter Route Offering from Birmingham

Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays have today announced the launch of their biggest ever Winter Sun programme from Birmingham Airport, with more seats and choice on offer for Winter 26/27.

As demand from holidaymakers looking to escape the long British winter drives yet another year of growth, the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator have put over 530,000 seats on sale for next winter, making it Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ largest Winter Sun programme to date from Birmingham Airport.
A choice of 14 winter sun destinations have gone sale from Birmingham Airport in the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura), Spain (Alicante and Malaga), Majorca (Palma), Portugal (Faro and Madeira), Malta, Turkey (Antalya), Cyprus (Paphos) and Morocco (Agadir and Marrakech) and during peak periods, the airline and tour operator will operate over 65 weekly outbound flights.

The release of the programme today comes in response to demand from holidaymakers looking to book ahead and enjoy some winter sunshine. It also makes Jet2.com and Jet2holidays the first airline and major tour operator to go on sale with Winter 26/27, giving customers and independent travel agents the opportunity to book their place in the sun for next winter early.

The full Winter 26/27 Winter Sun programme from Birmingham Airport is as follows:
  • Tenerife (up to 12 weekly services)
  • Lanzarote (up to nine weekly services)
  • Gran Canaria (up to five weekly services)
  • Fuerteventura (up to five weekly services)
  • Malaga (up to six weekly services)
  • Alicante (up to eight weekly services)
  • Palma (up to three weekly services)
  • Antalya (up to five weekly services)
  • Faro (up to five weekly services)
  • Madeira (up to two weekly services)
  • Paphos (up to two weekly services)
  • Malta (up to three weekly services)
  • Marrakech (up to two weekly services)
  • Agadir (up to two weekly services)
Over the coming weeks, the airline and tour operator will also reveal details of their Ski, City Breaks and Iceland programmes for Winter 26/27.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
