Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have today announced the launch of their biggest ever Winter Sun programme from Bristol Airport, with more seats and choice on offer for Winter 26/27.
As demand from holidaymakers looking to escape the long British winter drives yet another year of growth, the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator have put over 270,000 seats on sale for next winter. This represents a capacity increase of over 7% when compared to Winter 25/26, making it Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ largest Winter Sun programme to date from Bristol Airport.
A choice of 13 winter sun destinations have gone sale from Bristol Airport in the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura), Spain (Alicante and Malaga), Majorca (Palma), Portugal (Faro and Madeira), Malta, Turkey (Antalya), Cyprus (Paphos) and Morocco (Agadir) and during peak periods, the airline and tour operator will operate over 40 weekly outbound flights.
With Winter Sun destinations such as Madeira continuing to enjoy enormous popularity, the companies have added additional capacity to the island for Winter 26/27, with two weekly services (Thursday and Sunday) now operating next winter, an increase from one last winter.
The release of the programme today comes in response to demand from holidaymakers looking to book ahead and enjoy some winter sunshine. It also makes Jet2.com and Jet2holidays the first

  • Lanzarote (up to five weekly services)

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
