I've never flown Air China until now and today, I put their long-haul Economy Class to the test onboard their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, flying from São Paulo Guarulhos to Madrid Barajas.
Heading into this flight, I was genuinely excited to finally experience Air China for myself, but what followed turned out to be one of the strangest and most disappointing long-haul flights I’ve taken in quite some time.
From dated interiors, stained and broken cabin panels, and what may genuinely be one of the worst airline meals I’ve ever been served… this flight left me asking one major question: Is Air China an airline best avoided?
