Birmingham Airport regains capacity with launch of Loganair and Eastern Airways Responding to the collapse of Flybe, Loganair has announced it will introduce three daily services from Birmingham to Aberdeen, along with a daily service to Inverness from the 16th March 2020. In 2019, the airport served a total of 12,639,340 passengers, with the best performing months in comparison to the previous year including; January, with a total of 781,282 passengers (+4.76%), April, with a total of 1,002,951 passengers (+4.21%) and July, with a total of 1,352,392 passengers (+3.06%). Romania’s largest airline Blue Air announced the opening of eight new routes from Bucharest, Iasi and Bacau airports, starting this summer.
