Birmingham Welcomed New Three Times Weekly Service To Paris Orly With AIG Airline Vueling

Birmingham Airport today welcomed a new three times weekly service to Paris Orly with IAG member Airline, Vueling. Flights will operate each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, offering direct connectivity to this central Paris airport. Flights arrive at Birmingham from Paris Orly at 0720 and depart Birmingham at 0805 using a 220 seat A321 aircraft. This is Vueling’s second destination from Birmingham, complementing its existing service to Barcelona which operates four times weekly. BA tail fin to return to Birmingham The British Airways tail fin will be returning to Birmingham Airport to operate flights between Belfast and Birmingham. The flights will operate twice daily, increasing to three times a day on a Thursday and Friday. The flights will be operated using an Embraer 190 with capacity of 98 seats. Birmingham Airport has welcomed the one millionth passenger to use the Self-Service Bag Drop (SSBD) – automated self-service bag drop technology officially launched across the airport in January 2018. Designed to reduce passenger check in times, SSBD allows passengers to print bag tags and boarding passes and inject their bag into the baggage system using a simple, customer friendly user interface. The SSBD service has decreased queue times while increasing customer satisfaction and providing an improved customer experience.
