Odd timing to do a feature like this as a number of the food outlets will be changing in the coming months. Slow news during August I guess?!
I expect one of the junior hacks was given the task of trawling the BRS website to see if there was anything they could make a story out of. The Trinity Mirror Group, now restyled Reach Plc, seems to find a lot of its copy in its regional newspapers by setting staff to visit social media and other webs sites to see what they can find to fill column inches.

Do we know which outlet the new one is replacing whether this year, next year.......?

According the CDG website there is a Warren's Bakery (Part of the Casual Dining Group that include - Bella italia, Cafe Rouge, las Iguanas) opening at Bristol Airport in 2018. Closing date is 1st November 2018 for applications.

Guessing this is part of the airport eateries update.

When I read your post at first I wondered what it was to do with the Paris Cdg airport website. Then it dawned. Doh!

Voyager will only be temporary, Frankie and Benny’s will open around December/ January,
EAT replaces Soho Airside.

Thanks big g. Good to see you back posting on here.

There will be a tie-up between Superdrug and Co-op at the former's BRS outlet that will see the latter supplying a food range of more than forty items for passengers to take away.

Superdrug already sells sandwiches, crisps and the like.

The arrangement is part of a trial that involves six other airports and railway stations.

I'm not sure that I ought to be giving this sort of thing publicity as the local Reach plc 'newspaper' (Bristol Post) has yet again embarked on a tour of web sites to cobble together an 'article' that would make hard-working journalists of the past cringe in embarrassment.

The Post seems to have added up the Trip Advisor and Google scores for the various 'eateries and drinkeries' at BRS, except Frankie and Benny's as it doesn't yet have any reviews.

For what it's worth the outlet with the best score was Warrens Bakery and the worst Brunel Bar and Kitchen.

If there was anything worth talking about in the BRS forum at the moment I wouldn't have to post dross like this but as there is little of any import to discuss I've succumbed.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
