wow. That’s late on.
It looks like most of the exclusively Cityhopper destinations will start back in July while the ones that have mainline flights start back many to full schedule in June. I personally think that is a realistic timescale.

I guess it’s down to cityhopper. I think most airlines are aiming to start getting back to normal on 1 May and I hope they’re right.

I imagine that KLM may well use Cityhopper instead of mainline on some flights at the bigger airports until demand picks up and restrictions get lifted.

I see NWI, HUY and MME not mentioned also
Yep it seems KLM must rank CWL in the 3rd tier of UK airports! Lol
Such a shame as the route was growing well.
It does beg the question now of if or when will they be back?
If KLM aren't returning soon the question may well need to be asked whether the airport should reopen this summer. Especially if TUI pushback restarting.

A poster on the Dried Plum says that KLM will resume its Teesside service on 3 August. Might be worth checking on the latest for CWL.

Flights are in the booking engine on KLM.com from 3rd August, I just checked.
Yep all 4 airports are down to start on the 3rd August fingers crossed they will. All are down for the Embraer 175.
Surprisingly in September most of CWL flights are down to be operated by the E190 as scheduled before the crisis. I'll be surprised if that happens.

Yep the evening flight. Is there any point in them operating 1 daily?
And that has been done recently, as I was looking at flights to the USA a few days ago and all 3 daily flights were available. Way its going I'll be lucky to get my Madrid flight from Cardiff with them in October!

Looks like KLM have updated their schedule for CWL.
August in unchanged 1 daily 17.15 departure
September has changed between 31/8 and 6/9 it will 1 daily 09.45 departure, from 7/9 it goes to 2 daily with the 09.45 departure and the 17.15 departure and that lasts until 26/10 when it goes back to 3 daily.
So August will be 7 weekly and then for September to October it'll be 14 weekly with no overnighting aircraft.

I also looks like in September and October the bulk of the flights are down to be operated by the E190.

Update
For the week of 31/8 to 6/9 KLM have added an evening flight to make the whole week 14 weekly along with the whole month of September.

This is postive news not only for CWL but for KLM and possibly the wider aviation industry, because KLM have recently increased their frequency at a number of UK airports from August/September onwards.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
