I’m sat in the 1432 lounge and I can see an Easy aircraft just sat there in the top corner around stand 19 I think, what's the problem?

When is an easyJet not an easyJet?
When it's Sunwing 737 800 that now belongs to Jet2.

Yes sure it will be the ex Sunwing 738 that now carries it's new Jet2 reg of G-JZBZ. When I saw it a week ago it still had its orange Sunwing tailfin so could easily seem like a U2 logo

When i flew out of LBA last thur i had to look twice as you can see the orange on the tail but its difficult to see the white sunwing lettering on the orange.

No that's not correct because myself, @White Heather & @Aviador have publicly said on here in the recent past that easyJet were in the airport's long term plans.
It is also known that easyJet won't base aircraft here currently because terminal facilities are not up to there standered.

So read into that what you will...

Depends on what time of day it is. Last few weeks there’s been a shortage of stands so more stands are needed.

And wait until we get to Saturday afternoons in summer. Wasn't great at times last year so don't expect 2024 to be any better so stands definitely needed

Think as has been said U2 need a whole improvement in facilities before anything really happens with them

I'm sure I've read either on here or elsewhere the first 2+ additional stands (10+ in total) are to be built next winter ready for use summer 2025.

Now put a nice new shiny Terminal extension & 2 additional stands (which will only be built if needed) together what do you get?
