Hello.I know I like getting ignored on here because of how much gibberish I go on about aviation however anyway.

Via looking at Trip website it’s saying increases for Fuerteventura and Sofia are to up to 5 weekly this winter. Is there any speculation that this is true
Never been on trip.com until just now and I don't see any Ryanair flights on that site at all !

You might need to download the app.

To find this info you need to ⬇️

Press flights then Flight status and go across to routes and type in Birmingham to Sofia for the around 27th November or whenever during winter months.

If your struggling to enter or find this info then please ask me to screen record

Ant, the 2 flights you have shown, Fuerteventura on a Wednesday, and Sofia on a Tuesday, the flights times/details are the same as last winter, so i wonder if your app for some reason is picking up last years flights as well? - have you refreshed the app? Have you tried to do a "dummy" booking, see what happens?

I can see no Wednesday Fuerteventura or Tuesday Sofia for Ryanair this winter, in any of the websites I check, so 100% nothing is on sale!!

Is it this week or next week the Ryanair routes are expected to be announced and the Ryanair summer 25 sale to be announced?

Ant you really need some patience, it won't be this week if you presume the week finishes on a Sunday! Airlines will announce their routes when they are ready, not all UK airports will be announced together, I guess the releases will always be staggered for operational reasons! Just wait..... :D

It looks like Ryanair have added extra flights between 18th-21st February 2025

Some early season winter reductions but February half term additions.

Bucharest is quite a reduction from 5 per week changing to 3 per week for November and December but all restored from 1st January

Faro from 3 per week to 2 until Sunday 2nd February (Christmas extra flights still operate)

Oporto from 3 per week to 2 per week until Wednesday 5 February (Christmas extra flights still operate)

Bydgoszcz from 4 per week until 3 per week until Wednesday 5th February (Christmas extra flights still operate)

Marrakech - Tuesday flight suspended 7/1/25-4/2/25

Malta - From 4 - 2 per week for the period 7/1/25-4/2/25

Verona - from 3 to 2 per week until 2nd February (Christmas extra flights still operate)

Budapest - from 3 to 2 per week until 6th February (Thursday flight operates over Christmas)

Sofia - from 4 per week to 3 per week until 5/2/25 only 2 per week in January as Saturday flight stops for 4 weeks

February Half term extras have not been fully released for sale but look extensive (further details when on sale) and it will be the 3 parked aircraft utilised Tuesday to Thursday.

I believe that this is the first time I believe Ryanair have added extensive half term additional frequencies in a similar way to what they do at Christmas

So have we gone from talk of further winter expansion & based aircraft to reductions in a matter of only a few days ?
Yes quite major cut backs for the start of the Winter season something they have not done before but then the schedule returns.
Welcome to the world of Ryanair.
S25 may not be on sale until later in September according to Pprune

Ryanair are being severely affected by late delivery of their Boeing aircraft.
They have had to hold back on much route development for now.

Ryanair revisits package holidays launch plan eight years after failed first attempt

Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary is considering entering the package holiday market in a bid to attract more customers, raising the prospect of travel agents selling its holidays.

Michael O'Leary conceded that easyJet holidays had been 'reasonably successful' since its 2019 launch (Credit: Ryanair)

O’Leary has previously dismissed suggestions the low-cost carrier could offer package holidays in the future, but told The Telegraph: “I wouldn’t rule out setting up a holidays division. The holiday product is probably a reasonable way of charging higher fares and yields and for wrapping it into a package.”

But he added Ryanair wouldn’t launch a package-holiday division until it had taken delivery of all 350 aircraft on order from Boeing.

He stressed the new aircraft would allow Ryanair to grow traffic aggressively for some years without departing from its existing model.

However, O’Leary admitted that all-inclusive holidays have proved especially popular this year.

“Accommodation in the Canaries, Spain, Italy, Greece, has been appreciably more expensive, and that has maybe pushed more people into these kinds of holiday packages,” he added.

In 2016, Ryanair introduced a holidays programme but terminated it two months later, blaming its software partner of “screen-scraping” its website and reselling its website.

O’Leary conceded that easyJet holidays had been “reasonably successful” since its 2019 launch. However, in the same interview, O’Leary argued easyJet had been forced into the move.

“Holidays are a reasonable way for [easyJet] to try to monetise that scarce capacity at expensive airports. We on the other hand are taking lots of new aircraft and still expanding,” he said.

O’Leary described Jet2holidays as a “good, well-run operation” before adding: “There is very little seat-only or scheduled services. And they have no presence out of the UK.”

Ryanair declined to comment further when approached by TTG.

Do we have any idea if we are getting 3 aircraft next summer and when the summer sale will be released?
It’s being loaded now with TLS and ARN remaining for summer 25

A few increases that I’ve noticed so far Verona goes 5 weekly and Malta goes to 4 weekly some routes are still not loaded like Seville and Reus.
I’ve also noticed that EMA still only have the Canary Islands, Alicante, Barcelona, Faro, Palma and Malaga on sale but as summer 25 has only just started to be fully loaded nothing to worry about just yet but definitely one to keep an eye on.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
