I’d read very little into it. Many Airport marketing teams do similar when speculating about new routes.

Teesside seem to do it on a regular basis, especially when pestering the likes of Jet2.

So I was doing my load counts for tomorrow on the booking engine, and noticed an extra flight to Paris on Sunday 15th March. Has that always been there?

There could very well be as England RU play in Paris on Saturday 14Mar. Not that will be of interest to many after the last two performances!!

Today was the final flight of the season to Geneva

Here are the stats for today's flights


Barcelona: Outbound 101/156 (64.7%) / Inbound 156/156 (100%) (Assume 20% margin of error for outbound)
Geneva: Outbound 11/186 (5.9%) / Inbound 83/186 (44.6%) (Assume 20% margin of error for both)

Out of all the flights this month these loads rank:

Barcelona: Outbound 7/8 / Inbound 1/8 (joint with 21st)
Geneva: Outbound 3/4 / Inbound 3/4

I was on the Geneva flight (inbound) last night and told by the stewardess that there were 70 on board. You are within your 20% margin of error.

I saw something interesting on the Southampton movements for tomorrow. EasyJet flights to AMS & ALC operated on a AMS based aircraft. It does a AMS-SOU-ALC-SOU-AMS. This could definitely work for LBA…before the base opens in 2027.

The extra Easyjet Paris Cdg flight today is operated by Airbus A320, OE-IZL and is currently on finals for ILS Runway 14 as EZY47LZ.

Edit 14:02; Looks to have gone-around and now landing ILS runway 32.

With today's extra flight to Paris, guess it's time to have another look at easyJet's flights today from LBA


Paris CDG: Outbound 78/186 (41.9%) / Inbound 186/186 (100%)
Belfast Intl: Outbound 145/156 (92.9%) / Inbound 137/156 (87.8%)
(Assume 20% margin of error)

Next time I'll do these will probably be the days when the summer routes resume, unless other days are requested

Easyjet routes from Leeds to Barcelona Belfast, Geneva, Pairs Cdg are currently on sale up to January 2027, This Tuesday see's the airline put the rest of its winter schedule on sale.

Hopefully we see continuation and maybe an increase...

Seems to be a carbon copy so far. I wouldn’t expect any alterations as of yet, they usually come later
