Was this the first time this summer that Jet2 have topped 100 movements as well as easyjet and ryanair?

Saturday with the lowest movements of the week. I always used to think of Tuesday and maybe Wednesday as the quietest days. Thanks anyway Scottie.

Of course, the 1 movement in the log could well have been the arrival of the 777. However, as he only arrived about 22.30, would he be allowed to depart? They would need a spare crew on board presumably if it was a straight turn-round. And did he bring pax in if the scheduled 767 never arrived?

I take it the Omni 767 went poorly at MAN yesterday rather than elsewhere as Scottie's figures show 1 AC movement. Today's flight AC 2410 arrived at 10.52 according to the MAN boards. Does that mean there are 2 Omni and the AC777 on the ground at present, or has the 777 already departed?

Certainly caused quite long delays for a time and we had 3 flights diverted to LPL, LBA and BHX. 5 miles to the east, we had rain, but not torrential, and I wasn't aware of any thunder and lightning.

So the Omni 767 has gone tech. What a surprise ..... not!! Will tomorrow's arrival be cancelled then and the 77L depart with 2 days passengers, or as many as it can take?

I have to say that with only 2 piers on T2, 24 contact stands doesn't sound an awful lot for a Terminal when complete that could handle 25m-30m passengers a year. (even if flexibility could enable 2 narrow bodied a/c on some stands). As I recall, MAN originally stated that the airport would end...

As someone who is naturally cautious about new slots translating into actual flights, I agree it's very much a case of wait and see. There have been too many disappointments in the past for MAN, aside from the perennial slot applicants like Thai.

I think there were also a TUI, & Emirates diverted in from BHX as well as the Helvetic/Swiss included in your listing. Good to see over 600 again, thanks to the returning football fans on the extra flights.

Interesting point David. Although it's nearly a year away, I did look at Virgin's web site for whats currently showing for some dates in April'24. Not yet bookable in May that I could see. ATL & JFK are the A330, and on most days with 2 MCO flights, it seems to be 1 x A330 and 1 x A350. I...

Saturday still not made the 500 yet then. I would hope by mid summer, the daily movements will be 600, as we had 575 on 5th June last year, if we are to see some growth.

Good to see the quieter days of Tuesday, & Wednesday as well as Thursday with total movements over 500. Saturday is still lagging unless today is better.

I hope by early June we will surpass that figure of 575 from Sunday 5th June last year. Jet 2 never seem to reach to movement levels of Ryanair and easyjet despite the higher number of based a/c. Their schedules are never as tight as the other 2 carriers and the A330's will require longer...

Saturday hasn't been for some time. Usually it's Friday, Sunday and Monday that provide the highest movements.

It was going to be daily with a B788, then back to 5 x weekly with the A333, and the already short season reduced further. Now we have an Omni B767 for the first month. Suggestions on other forums and twitter that this smells of a manged decline, rather like AA did at MAN, and I can understand...
