I think there were also a TUI, & Emirates diverted in from BHX as well as the Helvetic/Swiss included in your listing.

Good to see over 600 again, thanks to the returning football fans on the extra flights.

Thanks as always Scottie. I have to say I'm a little surprised and disappointed that ATM's are not yet up to 600, except for Friday 9th June when the total overall was 619, thanks to the extra football traffic.

Ultimately though, it's really the passenger numbers that count, and a/c mix & seats, and LF's will be the decisive factors. Pax totals were up > 15% in May compared to the same month last year and only 5.1% down on May'19 so the trend is right as recovery continues. June-September will provide a good guide as to how close the annual figure might get to that for 2019.

Movements have been disproportionately hit by the loss of those waves of FlyBe DH8D's and E175's which were so easy to take for granted until one day they were gone. It will take time to build back to 700 movements per day which used to be quite common during Summer months. But at least MAN has plenty of runway slots available to offer to carriers interested in them. And dual runway ops hours can be extended again once demand justifies it.

I've just noticed, whilst looking at posts on Facebook, that Omni Air International started operating for Air Canada on Sunday 19th June. These flights have not been noted on FR24 and therefore the total movements for 19th & 20th need increasing by 4.

From today I'll double check against Flightaware to ensure that I capture the AC flights.

As an advance warning, I'm away for a few days and will be unable to capture data for this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If anybody has a spare 10 minutes to capture the data from FR 24 and put it onto a spreadsheet then I'll be happy to process the info when I return.

Air Canada sending a 77L to MAN tonight to replace the Omni 767 which has gone tech. c C-FNNH expected into MAN around 22.30 local. AC2110

So the Omni 767 has gone tech. What a surprise ..... not!!

Will tomorrow's arrival be cancelled then and the 77L depart with 2 days passengers, or as many as it can take?

This log is subject to verification as I returned home too late to capture the first 2 hours of arrivals from FR24. I have assumed that the same flights from the previous Saturday operated.

I take it the Omni 767 went poorly at MAN yesterday rather than elsewhere as Scottie's figures show 1 AC movement. Today's flight AC 2410 arrived at 10.52 according to the MAN boards. Does that mean there are 2 Omni and the AC777 on the ground at present, or has the 777 already departed?

Or did the 767 ever arrive and pax were put on 777 running about10 hours late
Of course, the 1 movement in the log could well have been the arrival of the 777.
However, as he only arrived about 22.30, would he be allowed to depart? They would need a spare crew on board presumably if it was a straight turn-round. And did he bring pax in if the scheduled 767 never arrived?

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
