Don't tell GALBA the freaks will be wetting the bed at a departure at that time. No doubt, head of the freak association, will already been in touch with LBA/LCC regarding such a late departure - despite aviation being a 24/7 business.
Would imagine they are all signed into contracts. However with new arrivals hall, security hall & subsequent passenger walk ways, departure's lounge and re vamped departures lounge, there is plenty of new advertising space up for grabs.
If easyJet are building up presence would imagine they...
I wonder what Jet2 arriving at Liverpool did for easyJet?
Was they always going for expansion or have they suddenly got the appetite to expand?
And it had to be said. Customers who have flown from only Manchester may of travelled with Jet2 out of Liverpool. Realised easyJet fly there (or the...
easy desperately need some A320Neo's/A321Neo's delivered to allow for the growth and new base at LBA...
I'm also shocked at what feels like the lack of flights to Belfast. What once was a regular / frequent and high LF flight has now become a shadow of its former self. I'd also say I'm shocked...
I'm surprised we've not got ALC for the winter period - but isn't it a seasonal base anyway?
This is what they did with Birmingham and Southend; build a nice slow presence up before announcing a base. Would imagine once new terminal is fully functional with the new layout and new arrivals...
I mean surely with a bigger footprint = bigger products to sell = more profit.
Such a shame that LBA is now going back to the pre historic days with no Superdrug and no boots.
Also why don't boots promote the buy online and deliver to airports? It's such a good system to get your sun creams...
BCN is not another “safe route”.
It’s really underserved from the region with just Jet2 operating. There was a time that they, Monarch (2 a week) and Vuleing served the route. I welcome this back … does one suspect Ryanair may jump on the band wagon?
That is a known within the LBA marketing teams, LBA team themselves, and the airlines themselves also know this.
LBA attracts a substantial amount of passengers for the NE with an alternative to Newcastle.
The issue with access from the south to LBA isn't the M1 or the drive (otherwise...
It was a cash cow I am lead to believe.
I think it’s one of the very reasons monarch survived for longer due to the cash coming from Sharm/Hurg.
I can see it coming back especially with Jet2holidays. And easyJet holidays getting bigger … Jet2 need to act.
I believe Sharm is safe. Always...
Agree however it’s what makes the most money. There is now an offering to Marrakesh in winter which is good; just need Egypt to join and the LBA winter map will look decent.
Leeds has always fallen behind. The trouble now is the city is so densely built in areas building a tram will cause havoc. If they had done this in the 80’s and 90’s and then continued to build on its success we’d of had fab infrastructure.
We’ll never have the tram going near or into the...
If they are testing one would imagine it’ll be built up.
So one flight (a Jet2 737-300), then the following day 2 flights. Then maybe later 4 flights with 2 at the same departure time.
Gradually build up resilience etc.
And who knows if it was overbooked in the first place? If it was under 148 then Jet2 are in for a winner. No delay or minimal to the flight and use spare resources available to them.
Noise limits - of none NEO/MAX aircraft.
LBA could draw up the contract that easyJet can only use NEO aircraft. As I've said many of time - easyJet's fleet expansion with NEO aircraft seems some what limited.
Trying to find this in the report but unable too...
