so, as we head into 2018, what do we feel 2018 will look like for MAN? I’m going to try and stay clear of what’s in the ACL report, unless specific points need to be covered, otherwise it’s not really a prediction but instead just a report of what we know.
The good:
-I suspect at least 2 new...
thought I would put this here as covers a few UK airports, but, is there something in the air?
Tony Hallwood has left LBA
Paul Kehoe is leaving BHX
Ken O'Toole seems to have been replaced by someone called Collette Roche
Now, Andrew Cornish of LPL has resigned with immediate effect.
Is...

thought I would start this random thread, as it's a fascinating insight into the past that can often get forgotten. It's also a learning curve, as the first one on my list was unknown to me until recently.
Now, I'm looking at routes that were actually announced by the airline directly, but...
Bad period for Liverpool.
-Aer Lingus have pulled the 4 daily Dublin route from January 5th.
-Flybe will reduce its 4 daily Belfast route to 5 weekly and pull the Edinburgh route this winter.
-Vueling have now performed their last flight and will not be returning.
-Thomson have cancelled...
new route to Chisnau, Moldova from June 2017.
Flies on Tue/Thu/Sat in the afternoon with A320.
Quite a coup that one, Moldova is a hard one to get! BHX really showing how it's done with Eastern Europe lately!
im sure some threads have disappears of late, as I cannot find the Aer Lingus thread?
Anyway, similar to BHX, DUB-MAN goes 7 daily on Thu/Fri, up from 6 daily.
This means together with the 3 daily Cork flights, we see 10 Aer Lingus flights on these 2 days.
as seen as they are now bookable, they deserve their own thread.
2 weekly initially on Thu/Sun. Arrives 0920 departs 1000. CO516/517 (nice to see the CO code back in use after the disappearance of Continental Airlines).
Starts 4th July and rises to 4 weekly from Sept 15th when more aircraft...
cant seem to find the old thread, but, Tunisair are back for a temporary basis this summer.
They will operate 2 weekly Tunis flights on Wed/Sun with A320. Flight numbers are TU8950/8951 from 3rd July-28th August. Evening flights.
Not sure on the reason for the flights.

With the addition of San Fransisco, I thought I would re create my maps in one easy thread. The USA, Mexico and Canada are the first map up, and I have to say, it looks bloody impressive:
The only gaps that I scan see that could be even remotely conceivable from Manchestr are Dallas (AA hub...
I've already created a 'lolo' thread, but, this thread gives the full Air X schedule so far for MAN. Whatever my thoughts on the outfit, to add 10 flights to the MAN schedule deserves some credit, because, if this was Easyjet, Ryanair or even Vueling, it would have had some degree of fanfare...
Air China has applied to serve Manchester-Shanghai 4 weekly with A330-200 from March 2016.
Honestly didn't see that one coming! Thought the Hainan group would be the main China growth carrier for the UK regions.
Shaheen Air are due to start East Midlands-Islamabad from 1st March using A330.
Flights will be Friday's and Sunday's.
Surprised to see them use East Midlands over Birmingham, but, I suppose it was part of a MAG deal given they start MAN flights at the same time...
