G-LSAL is heading back to GLA base where it will probably remain.

I would imagine something to do with Maintence.

I don't know if I'm a bit slow here, but how long have Jet2 had two scheduled flights to Dalaman at similar times.

Just noticed that G-LSAA is operating the LS922 and G-LSAI is not too far behind her operating the LS924...?!

I vaguely remember someone possibly mentioning a duplicate service somewhere... is this what this is?

Jet2 have hired in help at MAN also today, Blue Panorama B757-200 EI-DNA.

Came in last night as EXS41R

MAN seems to be having an Italian invasion of late, with Mistral Air B737-400 on the Rome student charter, and Alitalia B767-300 EI-CRF in also.

The Blue Panorama Boeing 757-200, EI-DNA that Jet2 have leased in for Manchester ops will position down to East Midlands sometime between now and tomorrow morning to cover one of the early rotations before it Positions back to Milan Malpensa.

This years friday MAN-DLM timetable shows a 1420 & 1450 departure. They are running two seperate flights on the same day with the same aircraft to the same destination? Anyone know why?

You & me both wana find out. It seems stupid to run them at the same time, why not one earlier on in the day or an extra on a day such as wednesday?

Jet2 have just announced 2x new routes from Manchester for summer 2013.

They will start a once weekly Monday service to the Greek island of Corfu and a 3x weekly service to Menorca (Mahon) in May.

Hi guys, newbie here.
Can anyone tell me which rows are the overwing exits on the Jet2 737-800? It isnt obvious on the seating plan on their website as it is for the 757.(6ft 5 needs lots of leg room)

Hello, Wondering if anyone can help.

I have read the Jet2 forums for some time with interest and note that more 737's are due next summer.

Just a quick question though - will the Strategic A320 be used at Manchester again. Looking to book flights to Barcelona for a short break and the seat plan shows 31 rows. As the 733 has 26 rows and the 738 has 33, I can only assume it is? Just looking for some clarification as after this year's experience with Strategic (not through Jet2) I will be avoiding them next summer!

Looks like there's no chance you'll be flying Strategic Airlines next summer. It would seem the airline "Strategic Airlines" has gone into administration.

Anyone know if the 757 that's been up at Glasgow has gone tech (g-lsan) I see g-lsam has been operating a few flights up there but is now back at Manchester. I wonder if they are going to keep a 757 there considering they're 2 down given that the leased 2 are back at allegiant.

As far as I'm aware, G-LSAL as completed her duties with Jet2, thus has left the GLA base. G-LSAM has been covering the duties on a temporary basis and will also complete her LS duties in the not too distant future.

Jet2 will offer their Christmas New York shopping trips from Manchester for the first time this year.

Flights depart on 21st November & 12th December 2013.

Jet2 will be giving up one of its more 'exotic' destinations this winter, as their Tel Aviv flights come to an end.

The last flight will be November 4th, and leaves in the face of a downgrade from the B757 to B737-800, and an increased frequency from easyjet on the same route.
