Yes, having just looked at various other airports both domestic and international, all that I looked up show codeshares on their website arrival/departures.

Maybe it deserves a question to Bristol Airport to ask why there is this discrepancy between FIS in the terminal and the website FI......
BRS doesn't show arrival times on its website page either, merely the 'scheduled arrival' and 'expected arrival' times.

The departures page shows the scheduled departure time but after that just the word 'Departed' with no time shown.

Could it be down to the limitations of the technology employed on the website?

Just a curiousity question but does anyone know if there is a reason why Aer Lingus mainline doesn't serve Bristol and it's just the regional franchise? I believe at other airports in the UK they use both but was wondering why not at Bristol?

Aer lingus mainline doesn't operate from Glasgow or Edinburgh either .

It resumes Edinburgh at the end of October. I do wonder if it would be a target for the airport even just a daily flight and does anyone know if they ever have served BRS with mainline?

Yes they did . The first time was with a b737-500 then they left to return with a daily a320. Further back aer lingus used to operate a 737-400 flying to Dublin and Düsseldorf. They also used a f50 on a service to Brussels prior to sabena starting their Brussels service

I’m sure I can remember aer lingus using BAC 1-11s before the 737s ?

BAC 1-11 were used on the Dub route for quite some time. They also used SH360 as well, then the FK50 till they pulled the route. The reason the route was pulled as Ryanair started a service. Ryanair had the Dublin route all to their selves till Air lingus started again with 1 rotation per day with a A320,this lasted till Ryanair put a extra rotation per day so they ended up with most pax,and the route was not viable for a A320 even at 1 rotation per day.
Stobarts started the Dublin route with ATR72 aircraft and that has worked out ok as Stobart operate route under the Air lingus banner, and the size of aircraft they use are right for the route along side Ryanair. Over time Stobarts have upgraded to ATR76 aircraft.

With transport firm Stobarts due to go under this week. I wonder how it will affect the airports they operate and also the airline.Im not sure if they are all classed as one or split into divisions.

I think they're owned separately. For instance Stobart Air is now part of Connect Airways.

The old transport company Eddie Stobart Ltd split into two separate concerns some years ago through a complicated system of manoeuvres. The two companies are now independent of each other: Eddie Stobart Logistics and the Stobart Group, the one that owns airports and an airline.

Eddie Stobart Logistics, the haulier, is the company that has been in the news because of accounting errors, suspension of shares, delayed financial results and restructuring attempts.

The Stobart group are owned by Westbury Property Fund who's interests including aviation, civil engineering and property they are a completely separately owned from Eddie Stobart the transport company so no connection at all.

Following on from Ryanair adding extra flights from Dublin for the six nations , so too has aer Lingus. Extra flights on fri, sat and sun

Such a shame that they aren't actually operating flights for Welsh fans actually from Wales! That would be too easy! Maybe for the Ireland v England game they'll add flights at Cardiff and expect the English fans to fly from Wales?!

If the airline that operates Aer Lingus regional goes bust then are Aer Lingus liable to honour the tickets?
It is the holding company Connect Airways that has gone into administration but this must effect Stobart Air.

On the Aer Lingus website under Conditions of Carriage for Aer Lingus Regional, the following appears.

Aer Lingus has entered into a franchise agreement with Irish regional airline Stobart Air. Under this agreement, Stobart Air will operate aircraft under the Aer Lingus Regional brand and livery. Tickets issued on Aer Lingus Regional services are issued by Aer Lingus acting as agent for Stobart Air. These flights are subject to the General Conditions of Carriage of Stobart Air.

It seems then that Aer Lingus is merely an agent for Stobart Air for Aer Lingus Regional flights which are subject to Stobart Air's general conditions of carriage. That suggest you are flying with Stobart Air and they have the usual responsibilities if flights don't operate although if they go into administration passengers are usually at the end of the queue when it comes to disbursing any company assets.

More interesting is the situation if you are flying with Aer Lingus 'mainline' but use Stobart Air dressed as Aer Lingus Regional to feed into Aer Lingus, as for example with BRS-DUB-JFK as a single booking. It seems the BRS-DUB leg is Stobart's responsibility but DUB-JFK Aer Lingus's. If you can't get to DUB in the first place you can't use the Aer Lingus mainline sector from DUB to JFK.

It just made me wonder as i booked a flight from Dublin to Bristol with them originally in April but i moved it to September now same with my Ryanair flight to Dublin on the same day. I believe though Connect only owned 49% of the compay so it'll be interesting to see what happens, of course from a selfish point of view i hope the outcome will be positive.

I see 2 rotations due Thursday 23rd. EI3280 from Dublin due 07.45. The other is EI3842 due12.20 from Cork. This is provided these flights not cancelled.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
