What actually happened was the Dalaman was delayed going as it had a lightning strike on its previous sector from Corfu, it had to have a look over from Thomson engineers before it was released for service. It finally went to Dalaman 3 hours 50 minutes+ late... then due to very bad storms affecting Turkey - it diverted to Paphos of all places. The crew took rest and the flight continued the next day - Paphos to Dalaman then Dalaman to Leeds. Due to the severe delay of our based unit - a relief aircraft was sent from Cardiff to operate the Leeds program.

US Army C-37A(Gulfstream 5) 1863(02-1863) call-sign "PAT 63" inbound from Andrews AFB for overnight stay.

Talking about military stuff, does anyone know the reg of the Army Islander that landed at about 15:50 on Sunday afternoon?

Nice visitors at Multiflight this morning as noted by myself, (02)-1863 = US Army Gulfstream C-37, PH-RLG Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign and last but not least G-SIRO, Dassault Falcon 900EX

Plus the Jet2 Static fleet is parked up along with 2x Ryanair's and the based Monarch.

Jet2's latest Boeing 737-800WL G-GDFU may have gone tech or has some sort of problem down route in Alicante after operating this morning outbound LS271 service. In fact it was her first revenue service for Jet2!
In the meantime it looks like Leeds/Bradford based Boeing 737-300, G-CELD has been positioned out empty as LS041A to bring half off the stranded LS272 pax back home while Alicante based Boeing 737-300, G-CELJ will bring the rest. Guessing some engineers have been sent down as well.

Embraer Legacy M-ARSL just on finals inbound from Algeria. Must be new can't find any record of it.

Dose anyone know why Loganair Saab 340, G-LGNM positioned out empty and then flew at 12,000ft all the way over to Donegal as LOG843F instead of operating the return BE6985/LOG12DC service back to Glasgow this evening?

A Canadian Airbus A310 is scheduled to be staying at LBA for a few days next week.

So with this Canadian A310 been at LBA this weekend the apron will seem quite busy as we also have an Enter Air, Boeing 737-400 due to position in as well operating Transun's Santa trips from/to Enontekio on FRI, SAT & SUN..

Jet 2 Boeing 757 G-LSAK has just departed runway 32 bound for New York and seems to be heading direct to New York this time. It is out over the Irish Sea at the moment.

...and just to add to the excitement, Danish Air Transport ATR72 OY-RUG has just come in working EI3390 from Dublin.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

If you’re tired of takeoffs, you’re tired of life.
49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
