Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

My parents were on the TCX Ibiza flight on Friday and they'd been told the A320 was having an engine change.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Jet2 are having to lease yet another aircraft due to problems with G-CELP.

Avion Express Airbus A319-112 LY-VEU (ex US Airways N739US) is positioning in from Budapest as EXS043A to operate this afternoon's LS315/316 Paris Cdg and the evening LS327/328 Belfast Int'l flights. It will night stop tonight and continue to operate from LBA tomorrow and also maybe Tuesday.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Jet2 are to lease in another aircraft tomorrow. This time been Fly Hello A320, HB-JIZ. Its due to position in from Zurich at 08:40 as EXS045A.

It is planned to operate the EXS241/242 Nice service. It will then position back to Zurich at 15:40 as EXS047A.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Well it's gonna be late because FR24 is showing it as only recently departed Zurich.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

I've posted a not-that-great pic of the Fly Hello on the LBA gallery, and given you credit for the info.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Forgot to mention that the leased Fly Hello, Airbus A320, HB-JIZ has replaced the leased Cosmo Airlines, Airbus A320, LY-COM which positioned out to Madrid in the early hours of this morning as EXS043R.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Jet2.com Boeing 737-300QC, G-CELP must be fixed after its divert in on Saturday night as its currently doing some circuit bashing and few missed approach and go-arounds onto runway 32 as EXS051B.

I now hear that she should re-enter service this afternoon.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

A jet-engined Flybe is on approach, I'm assuming it's an Embraer? Makes a nice change from the props.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Yep, you'll be right, they're a nice aircraft and very photogenic. Flybe frequently use them on the evening Southampton flight.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Hi All,

I've been away so am a bit out of the loop in terns of which leased aircraft are currently being used by Jet2, can someone give me a quick recap, along with when I might expect to see them? I'm thinking about going up to the Cemetery either this evening or tomorrow to do a bit of filming, so if it coincided that would be great.

Thanks!

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Heads up for yet something totally different for LBA.

I don't know if this is yet another Jet2 sub or not, But I guess one of are Jet2 regulars will be able to add more to this if in fact it is yet another leased aircraft.

Anyway looking at the LBA live arrivals page we have a German Sky Airlines aircraft due to position in at 09:15 tomorrow morning as GAF490F from Dusseldorf

Seems a small airline based at Dusseldorf with two B 737-800s? Turkish owned? Though the registration of the aircraft shown below is German.

The livery seems colourful - see this link.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Don't Jet2 usually use their own flight codes for sub charter aircraft? and also on the LBA website they have the Jet2 logo? sounds intresting though.

Re: Movements Log & Heads Up

Just been told it should be operated by either a German Sky Airlines Boeing 737-800 or that it could be the Cosmo Airlines Airbus A320, LY-COM. as its been flying for German Sky Airlines today.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
