lbaspotter:
Great piece of work.
Am one who is flying out to malaga at 7am instead of our 8am booking on the 10th may. Were advised by email by jet2 on the 24th July of the new flight time, quite happy to hopefully get there an hour earlier.
Every flight we booked when released last year has been changed, a new record.
Looks as if it will be very busy at 6/7am on a Friday morning.

He did a radar vectored ILS onto rw14, before doing a right turn VFR towards likley and the low level corridor. To the west of leeds zone. The pilots were very obliging in doing a nice low approach as well.

Looks like the RAF's BBMF Spitfire & Hurricane could be due to night stop at LBA this weekend seen as there website as Leeds listed on it for this weekend. There again they may end up going to RAF Church Fenton instead. So one to watch out for though!

Looks like Leeds Utd are going on there travels for per season this summer. I think we might have a chance of a few ad-hoc charter flights into and out of LBA as they are going on a 10 day tour to Slovenia starting from July 8th running until July 18th. They are playing 2 games at the FC Mura Stadium and a 3rd game aginst FC Domzale at Domzale Sports Park.
Meanwhile Leeds Utd will also host German Bundesliga side FC Nurnberg at Elland Road on Saturday, July 27. So might even get a German aircraft visitor if we are lucky...

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
