Albastar Boeing 737-800, EC-MUB is Due tomorrow operating the Inbound Hallam Dioseces charter.

Thursday 06/07/23
LAV8563 = ETA 17:00 from Lourdes

It now looks like it's night stopping and will be operating the Leeds & Ripon Dioseces outbound charter as follows.

Friday 07/07/23
LAV4755 = ETD 09:15 to Lourdes

As many of us know, we had a visit from a pair of F35 Lightnings this morning. The 'story' has even made local news by appearing under the BBC Red Button function for the northern England region. Apparently, the jets were 'very loud'.

In other news, s**t stinks.

Reading this forum about sightings of RAF aircraft flying into LBA makes me extremely jealous. I live 3 miles east of RAF Scampton. When the Red Arrows were based there we could watch their display from the garden but now they have moved across the city to RAF Waddington and their practise area has also moved we don't. The approach for RAF Waddington has also been altered slightly so the only aircraft we see are the ones passing over in upper airspace

Wizz Air Malta Airbus 321 Neo 9H-WDK is enroute from Bucharest Otopeni and will make her first LBA visit later this evening.

The A320 operating the Cluj Napoca rotation tonight would have been a first LBA visit, but owing to a delay seems to have already been planned into Liverpool.

BH
It's shown as Cancelled rather than diverted. The A320 is ok to operate after 2300 anyway, although it would obviously count as two night movements.

Well their new shirt sleeve sponsor is, wait for it……Flamingo Land (I kid you not) so money will be no object! Who needs Emirates? Flamingo Land Stadium here we come.

Can’t wait for the pink away strip!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
